Avrah® — Cookie Policy

Important. Please read carefully.

This Cookie Policy explains how Home SeTV® S.r.l. uses cookies and similar storage technologies on the A.V.R.A.H.® website and application. We are committed to transparency about the technologies we use and your choices regarding them.

What Are Cookies

1. Definition

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which allow websites to store data locally in your browser. These technologies serve various purposes such as remembering your preferences, keeping you logged in, and ensuring the security of transactions.

Our Use of Cookies and Storage Technologies

2. Essential Cookies and Storage Only

A.V.R.A.H.® uses only essential (strictly necessary) cookies and browser storage. We do not use any analytics cookies, tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or marketing cookies. We do not use any third-party tracking pixels, social media widgets, or behavioral profiling tools.

3. What We Store

The following storage technologies are used on A.V.R.A.H.®, all of which are strictly necessary for the service to function:

Authentication Tokens (localStorage)

Purpose: to keep you securely logged in to your account across sessions. Type: browser localStorage. Duration: until you log out or the token expires. Necessity: required for the application to function — without this, you would need to log in on every page visit.

Stripe Fraud Prevention

Purpose: Stripe.js, our payment processor’s client-side library, may set cookies for fraud detection and prevention during payment transactions. Type: third-party essential cookies set by Stripe. Duration: varies by cookie (managed by Stripe). Necessity: required for secure payment processing. These cookies are classified as strictly necessary under the ePrivacy Directive because they are essential to the security of payment transactions. For more information, see Stripe’s cookie policy at https://stripe.com/cookie-settings.

Consent Banner

4. Why We Do Not Show a Cookie Consent Banner

Under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC as amended by 2009/136/EC) and its implementation in Italian law (Art. 122 of D.Lgs. 196/2003), consent is not required for cookies and storage technologies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user. Since A.V.R.A.H.® uses only essential cookies and storage (authentication and payment fraud prevention), a cookie consent banner is not required. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.

Managing Cookies

5. How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: view what cookies are stored and delete them individually; block third-party cookies; block cookies from specific sites; block all cookies; delete all cookies when you close the browser. Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent A.V.R.A.H.® from functioning correctly — you may be unable to log in or complete payment transactions. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers: Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies. Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data. Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies. Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

Analytics and Third-Party Scripts

6. Third-Party Scripts

A.V.R.A.H.® does not load any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The only third-party script loaded is Stripe.js, which is strictly necessary for payment processing. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or profiling service.

Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to understand aggregate website usage. The tracker is bundled into our application code and uses in-memory storage only — it does not set cookies, does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage, and does not retain any data on your device. Aggregated information (page URL, referrer, browser, operating system, country) is sent to PostHog’s servers in the European Union. IP addresses are discarded server-side. We do not use session recording, surveys, or behavioral profiling. Because no persistent storage is placed on your device and no personal data is retained, this processing does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR. For more information, see PostHog’s Privacy Policy at https://posthog.com/privacy.

Changes to This Policy

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we introduce any non-essential cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy accordingly and implement a consent mechanism. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
